Ursa Major, commonly known as the Big Dipper. Ursa Major means "Big Bear" in Latin. According to the Greek mythology, the bear was once a beautiful woman named Callisto. Zeus lusted after Callisto's beauty. Hera, Zeus' wife, became jealous and transformed Callisto into a bear.
Somewhere in the story Callisto meets her son while she's a bear. The son thinks that the bear is out to kill him, so he prepares to shoot the animal. To avoid a tragedy, Zeus transforms Callisto and her son into Ursa Major, the constellation known to us as The Big Dipper. In the words of random Deviantart trolls, "Cool story, Bro!"
